Creating your dream piece of jewelry is a personal and exciting journey. Here's how we bring your vision to life:

Design Consultation with an expert

The first step in designing your own piece of jewelry is to have a consultation with our expert designers at Chantal Vaulet. We’ll work closely with you to understand your vision for the perfect piece. To get started, you can send us a sketch or a few reference images that reflect the style you have in mind. Our designers will use this input to create a design tailored to your unique preferences and needs.

During the consultation, our team will ask several questions to better understand your vision. For example, we’ll ask which materials you'd like to use for your ring, whether you want to use your own gemstone, which types of gemstones interest you, the ring band size, and if you'd like the ring to be engraved. Once we have all the necessary details, we’ll provide you with a quote before our master goldsmiths begin crafting your ring.

Visualize Your Design in 3D

After you approve the quote, our specialized designers will create a 3D rendering of your jewelry. This digital model will show even the smallest details in your chosen materials. The final price depends on the amount of time our designers spend on your custom piece. You’ll receive the 3D design by email within approximately 8 working days.

This 3D rendering is a crucial step because it gives you a precise preview of what your finished piece will look like. You’ll have time to review the design and request any necessary changes. Once you're happy with the design, you can give us the green light to produce a 3D-printed model — a detailed gray plastic prototype of your ring in the correct size. This allows you to examine and even try on the piece before placing the final order, ensuring the proportions match your expectations.

Your Approval

You'll review the CAD design to ensure it’s exactly what you imagined. We’ll make any adjustments needed until it's just right.

Our Master Goldsmith Crafts Your Jewelry

Once you give final approval, our master goldsmiths begin creating your piece. They will work meticulously to bring your design to life with the highest level of precision and care. We will keep you informed throughout the entire process, and if there are any delays, we will always discuss them with you first.

Please note, the creation process may take longer than the standard 12 working days if we need to order a special gemstone or if you’ve requested laser engraving. Nevertheless, we strive to deliver your piece on time and will update you every step of the way.

Preview the Magic

Once you give final approval, our master goldsmiths begin creating your piece. They will work meticulously to bring your design to life with the highest level of precision and care. We will keep you informed throughout the entire process, and if there are any delays, we will always discuss them with you first.

Receive Your Personalized Jewelry

The final step is receiving your custom-designed piece. Our team will carefully hand-package your jewelry in a luxurious gift box. Alongside your piece, you'll receive a handwritten certificate detailing important information such as the metals used, the type, number, and quality of gemstones, and a GIA certificate for diamonds of 0.3 carats or larger.

If you’d like to track your shipment, we’ll provide you with a tracking code once your order has been dispatched. When you receive your personally designed piece, we hope you'll share it with others.
