How we use cookies and local storage
Cookies are small files placed on your device by a website. Local storage is browser storage used for similar practical purposes, such as remembering your selected country, currency, cart, or consent choice.
Some storage is essential for the storefront to work. Other storage, such as analytics or marketing tools, is optional and should follow your consent choices.
Use the cookie banner, the cookie settings link in the footer, or the buttons on this page to accept, reject, or change optional categories. If you cannot see the control, you can email us using the contact button on this page.
Cookie and storage categories
| Category | Purpose | Examples | Choice |
|---|---|---|---|
| Essential | Run the storefront, protect security, remember basic settings, keep cart and checkout flows working, and prevent fraud. | Country, currency, language, cart, checkout preferences, consent record, security, and Cloudflare protection storage. | Always active because the site cannot work reliably without it. |
| Preferences | Remember optional display choices, such as language, country, or region, when this is not already necessary for a requested storefront action. | Preference consent status, selected language, selected country, and related manual-selection markers. | Only active when permitted by your consent choice or when the setting is needed to perform an action you requested. |
| Analytics | Understand site performance, product-page use, search behavior, and errors so we can improve the store. | Aggregated page events, browser/device information, performance events, and anonymized or pseudonymous usage signals when configured. | Only active when permitted by your consent choice or applicable law. |
| Marketing | Measure or personalize advertising, retargeting, or campaign performance if marketing integrations are enabled. | Advertising pixels, conversion tags, campaign identifiers, or audience signals when deliberately configured. | Only active when permitted by your consent choice or applicable law. |

Changing or withdrawing consent
Use the buttons at the top of this page, the cookie banner, or the cookie settings link in the footer to change your cookie choice or withdraw optional preferences, analytics, and marketing consent.
You can also clear cookies and local storage in your browser settings. This may remove your country, currency, cart, or consent preferences and may require you to choose again.
For help with cookie or privacy choices, email info@chantalvaulet.com.
Retention and consent log
Essential storage is kept only as long as needed for the relevant storefront, security, cart, checkout, or legal purpose.
The cookie banner asks again after 180 days, after a consent-version change, or after browser data is cleared.
When you save a choice, we store a minimal server-side consent event with a pseudonymous consent ID, pseudonymous session ID, selected categories, page, locale, and timestamps. We do not store your IP address in this consent event.
For native Meta event delivery, raw request IP address, User Agent, Meta browser or click identifiers, and new checkout copies of those values are removed after successful or terminal delivery and never kept for more than seven days. Non-identifying delivery status and presence indicators may be retained for up to 90 days. Hashed or pseudonymous online identifiers remain personal data and are not treated as anonymous.
Optional preference, analytics, or marketing storage, if enabled, follows the retention settings of the configured service and your consent choice.
