Meta technologies and advertising data

When you grant marketing consent, we use Meta Business Tools, including the Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API. We and Meta Platforms Ireland Limited may process information about your use of this website so that we can measure and attribute advertising, understand campaign performance, avoid counting the same event twice, and show or measure relevant advertising where permitted.

The information sent to Meta may include the event type (such as PageView, ViewContent, AddToCart, InitiateCheckout, or Purchase), event time and event ID, the page URL, product or content identifiers, quantities, order value and currency, an order identifier, IP address, browser user-agent information, a pseudonymous external identifier, and Meta browser or click identifiers stored in the _fbp and _fbc cookies. For a completed purchase, we may also send normalized, SHA-256-hashed versions of the customer's email address, phone number, first name, last name, and customer identifier to improve event matching. Hashing reduces direct readability but does not make the information anonymous.

Meta processes information received through its Business Tools under its applicable terms and Privacy Policy. Meta marketing tools do not load, and we do not send these marketing events to Meta, unless marketing consent is granted. You can change or withdraw that consent at any time through Cookie preferences. See our Cookie Declaration for details about marketing cookies and browser storage.

How to request deletion of your data

To ask us to delete personal information associated with this website or our Meta integrations, email info@chantalvaulet.com with the subject “Data deletion request”, or use our Privacy and Data Requests page. Include your full name, the email address used with us, your country, and any relevant order number. If your request concerns a Facebook or Instagram interaction, you may also include the account or user ID needed to identify the relevant record. Do not send a password.

We may verify your identity before acting on a request. Subject to applicable legal exceptions, we will delete or anonymize the personal information we control and notify relevant processors where required. We may retain limited information when necessary for tax, accounting, fraud prevention, dispute, or other legal obligations. Withdrawing marketing consent stops future Meta marketing collection from this browser; a deletion request is needed if you also want us to erase existing records that we control.
